International Women's Day

Today is International Women's Day. But for millions of women in the world struggling to overcome poverty, survival is the day's only reward.

One Shared World is a campaign to raise awareness of global poverty and generate dialogue about what we, as Americans, can do to help tackle it. The Campaign especially seeks to connect America’s working women to the many public and private efforts that help people in developing countries overcome poverty, hunger, illiteracy and disease.

Visit www.onesharedworld.org to learn more about how we can help tackle global poverty. It doesn't take money, just a mouse click.

Women like us have the power to make a difference. When we all work together, we can make the world better for ourselves and for women we don't even know. Women who—like us—are striving to build a safer, more secure, and healthier future for themselves and their families.
