Benefits of Sugar Scrubs

Heat and extreme cold weather can do a number on your skin, creating flakes and an itchyness that is hard to deal with! Not good!

You take a bath to clean your skin, but that isn’t helping with the dryness that’s there. This is where our Sugar Scrubs come in!

Unlike salt scrubs, sugar scrubs are gently and don’t burn. They give your skin a beautiful and healthy appearance. Use it in the shower before shaving and the shea butter and cocoa butter will help moisturize while the sugar polishes away the dry and itchy skin. Smooth and soft!

Hot Tub Fizzies Coming Soon!

We have been working hard to create new products for you to enjoy - and to give as gifts of course!

Hot tub bath fizzies are one. I was working for a friends pool company last summer and I can't tell you how many customers were upset with how difficult it was to find bath products that they could enjoy in their hot tubs. Oil-based fragrances are a no-no with hot tubs - so their search was tough.

We recently came across water-based (as opposed to oil-based) fragrance oils specifically made to be used in products for hot tubs.

We will not only be selling them through our site, but we will also be offering them at wholesale to pool companies.

Donating Gifts for Charity Events

Many non-profit organizations host fundraising events where they either auction off gift baskets and gift items or they have silent/Chinese auctions. These are great ways for area businesses to showcase their items and be a part of the fundraising efforts of these organizations.

Business on MySpace

What started out as a "social gathering of friends" on MySpace, turned into a pretty good boost for business.

My friends and I decided to set up accounts on MySpace as a way to converse with friends who don't live nearby. It was fun and entertaining - and became an alternative to emailing each other. Then I looked into the Groups they had on the site. I came across one that was of interest to me - Small Business Entrepreneurs. I figured I'd see how it was. I gained a lot of business through it.

I have to say that I am very happy with the site. I know some people are weary of it, based on some bad publicity. But since I'm not on there to meet people (just chatting with current friends) - some businesses may gain more business through it. I came across many people on there for the sole purpose of their small business. And I hope they get as much out of it as I have.

Bridal Shower Favors

The season is upon us….bridal showers are being planned and they need favors! Something elegant, something everyone needs…..Lavender Bath Salts. It’s perfect for any bridal shower favor, especially if you have a Paris or French theme. And it’s so easy to make! I can’t tell you how many of these we have made over the years for people – and they still are one of the most popular handmade favors.

Purchase tins with clear tops. We got these wholesale at SKS Packaging. You can purchase Epsom salt at most grocery stores (since epsom salt helps ease sore muscles…look in the aisle that sells shoe gels, foot creams, etc.). There are different sizes of tins, so make sure you do the math before under-buying or overbuying the salts and lavender. Each tin will only need 2-3 pinches of lavender. We got lavender wholesale at Wholesale Supplies Plus.

Now you can tie a pretty ribbon around it. But you will need a hang tag with the bridal shower information on it. Get cute tags at My Own Labels. You can choose from a variety of styles and colors to coordinate with the wedding colors or with the theme of the shower.
